Villa Romeo

The price wasn't too high, but given the condition and all the inconveniences, I can see why. The apartment was dirty when we arrived: dishes, coffee maker, and a bathroom with mold and stains. There weren't enough dishes, the sheets and duvets were unsuitable, and some furniture was defective. No inventory was taken at arrival, and there were no basic supplies such as condiments, spices, or toilet paper, although these had been advertised as provided. The Booking.com listing was misleading. It suggested there were only two apartments with upper floors, but there were actually four apartments with a lower terrace and shared pools. The electricity billing was excessive. We were required to pay cash at a misleading rate, and the allowed consumption was far below average for four people. Because of that, we had to limit air conditioning use despite the heat. When we raised the apartment's dirty condition, the owner wouldn't listen and kept insisting we pay for electricity at a rate much higher than the one on the meter. We felt we were being scammed. We wouldn't pay by card, and they wouldn't let us leave until we'd paid cash. The owner refused to provide an invoice unless we paid an additional 15% of the amount we'd already paid. This is illegal in Spain. We were made to leave without a receipt. We stayed calm, but the owner didn't. She yelled at us and spoke to us rudely, like children. In her determination not to issue a receipt, she grabbed a pair of shoes from the floor and threw them outside to force us out. She came in 15 minutes before we were due to leave and watched us without saying a word. We felt oppressed. When she thought we weren't looking, she bent down to look in our bags. I do not recommend this accommodation.

The views are incredible, and the pools are quite large. The house has all kinds of amenities. Both the owner and manager are welcoming and always available to help, whether when booking or during the stay if any problems come up. 10/10.

A dream spot for a relaxing holiday.

Parking is easy, and the cafeteria is pleasant.
