Hotel Agua Beach - Adults Only

The location made getting around easy: close to Palma, right by a bus stop, a minute from the beach, and near a large supermarket with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's also a locked bike station where you can store your bike. We had a spacious, modern, clean room with a sea view, perfect for coffee on the terrace early in the morning, and housekeeping was steady and thorough. The rooms were well looked after, and the check-in process went smoothly. Reception stays open around the clock, and the staff were kind and quick to answer questions. Breakfast ran from 8 to 10, a little late for our early bike rides, but they kindly let us in at 7:30. Not everything was ready, but we could eat quietly and leave by 8. The food was excellent with lots of choices, and service was fast and efficient. The blond lady we saw regularly was especially welcoming and upbeat. The room got quite hot at night because the air conditioning didn't seem to work, perhaps because it wasn't the season yet. We left the terrace door open. We didn't tell reception, so it may have been an easy fix. There's a spa too, though we didn't have time to try it. The sauna needs to be booked about 30 minutes ahead.

The woman at reception was cheerful and helpful, and Anna in the restaurant was just as lovely. The food and room were both good, and the rooftop garden with its views is a must. I stayed in the annex, which was a little confusing at first, but I found my way around. Great location, amazing staff, and I'd absolutely recommend it.

I spent four nights here on my own. I didn't try the gym, bar, or pool, but the reception and restaurant teams were lovely and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, and the area is great, near buses, supermarkets, restaurants, and shops. It's easy to get to Palma and the airport by bus. There is no soundproofing. The issue wasn't only loud guests, though I was woken or kept awake on several nights. You can hear everything from nearby rooms and corridors: someone showering next door, an early alarm, talking, laughing. I imagine it could be a nightmare for sleep once the season gets busier.

Street noise kept us from sleeping, and the hallways smelled of sewage. Our room was dirty, too. We had booked a sea view but were put in a building with no view of the sea at all. When we asked to change rooms, the director, Alex, was rude and dismissive, and acted completely unprofessionally. After reading older reviews, it seems this may be a regular pattern: guests pay for a sea view, get placed in the annex without one, are told the hotel is full if they ask to move, and are refused a refund. That feels dishonest and misleading. One of the worst hotel stays we’ve had. Avoid it.
