Aparthotel Ponent Mar

We stayed in February and loved the amenities, especially the indoor pool, where kids are allowed from 12:00 to 16:00. The beach is a 5 min stroll away, and there's a great play area there. It's a superb family friendly hotel, with a complete breakfast buffet and the option to make a little snack in the room, which was handy with two young kids. Would love to return!

The staff were kind, helpful, and always welcoming, and the food in the area was delicious too, well worth trying. My family and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and enjoyed every moment. Upgrading to the Premium Apartment Sea View was absolutely worth the extra money. The view was breathtaking and made our stay even more special. The food at the hotel was amazing too. The best place I've ever stayed!

The staff at Ponent Mar Aparthotel were kind, professional, and attentive throughout. My friends and their kids stayed there too and told me how much they enjoyed it. I stayed in a large, well-equipped apartment while getting ready for my wedding. It gave me a calm place to take a break between arrangements, with a stunning sea view and comfortable terrace. Having private parking and a fully functional kitchenette was so convenient, as I could have a quick coffee or simple meal anytime. It was a fantastic experience, and I'd highly recommend it for weddings, family trips, or romantic getaways.

The view may be the best in Palmanova, and the outdoor pool is large and lovely. There's an indoor spa too, and breakfast had a wide range of dishes for different tastes. The staff were polite, and the rooms were spacious. But the furniture didn't feel up to a four-star standard. The shower area was far too narrow and uncomfortable, and the sink, shower, and faucets felt more like what you'd find in a two-star hotel. Water splashed everywhere when turned on, as if the hotel had tried to save money there. We spent 12 days at the hotel, and these drawbacks might have been acceptable if the stay hadn't been ruined by cockroaches. On the fourth night, I woke to a crawling sound. I got up in the dark and walked toward the kitchenette, then switched on the light and saw the biggest cockroach I have ever seen. I managed to kill it, but the feeling was horrible. We wondered whether to ask for another room, then told ourselves that if there were cockroaches here, they were probably everywhere. We tried to calm ourselves by thinking it might be bad luck. A few days later, another one appeared, just as huge. It seems clear the hotel has a serious cockroach problem. I strongly recommend properly spraying and treating the corridors and rooms and taking real measures to address it. This is the only reason I wouldn't recommend the hotel. I'd personally like to return, but this would stop me.
