Resort Purobeach Resort Santa Ponsa

Santa Ponsa may not offer all the restaurants or nightlife some people want, but we knew that before booking. When we wanted to explore, it was easy to get to Portals or Palma by taxi or hire car, and some of Mallorca’s best beaches were only a short drive away. We’d spent three weeks travelling around Spain and came to Purobeach Resort for the last week of our honeymoon to relax. We originally booked four nights, then extended because we loved it so much. It became the highlight of our trip. The hotel and its many ocean views are stunning, and our balcony room was beautifully presented and well maintained. Every meal we had was excellent, whether at the breakfast buffet, beach club, adjoining restaurant, or main restaurant. The rooms, pool, restaurants, breakfast, and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations. Staff across reception, management, valet, and dining were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We couldn’t fault the stay and would absolutely recommend it. Thanks to the whole team for such a memorable end to our honeymoon. We’d love to come back.

The sunbed booking arrangement left a bad taste. At check-in we were told to reserve loungers at breakfast, but when we asked there, we were told the main pool beds had all been booked the previous day. They did find space for us after we complained, but it felt opaque and not like a five-star system. I’ve never come across that before. A bottle of water at €9 is expensive even for a five-star hotel. The property is beautiful, and our room was comfortable, though quite dark. Food and drinks were good. We ate at the restaurant both nights and had lunch at the poolside cafe. The piano player on Monday night was amazing.

The morning yoga was one of my favorite parts of the stay. It was such a peaceful way to start the day, and really suited the relaxing atmosphere. The location was great too. Puerto Portals quickly became one of my favorite places on the island, with its marina, restaurants, and overall vibe, and it was lovely to return to a quiet resort. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, clean, and peaceful, with a stunning view that made mornings feel unreal. The whole staff was incredible. Special thanks to GM Pablo and Assistant Manager Borja for their attentiveness, welcome, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We felt safe, relaxed, and looked after, and whenever we needed something, they were there right away with kindness and professionalism. Beautiful property, amazing hospitality, and an unforgettable stay. Can’t wait to come back!

We spent five days at Purobeach Resort Santa Ponsa for our honeymoon and my birthday. The room had a stunning sea view, and the hotel felt elegant and high quality. Breakfast was excellent, the restaurant food was fantastic, and the facilities were great. One of the two pools was heated, which was a big plus. The staff made it feel like a home away from home. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Mark at reception helped us so much, David and Andrea at the pool were amazing, and Naila greeted us kindly each morning at breakfast. Lucas helped with our luggage, which we really appreciated. And thanks to everyone whose names we’ve forgotten too. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend it for luxury, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely return.
