After our castle visit, we stopped here for the Saturday menu of the day. The price was very reasonable, and the portions were generous. There was plenty of choice, including typical Manchego dishes, and the food was tasty. Service was quick too.

The owner was very kind, and even left a bottle of water and a chocolate bar for each of us in the room. Our room was spacious and clean, in a quiet spot close to the center of town. There’s free parking just a few meters from the hostel. The restaurant offers a menu of the day, and the town has restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and more. A nice place to return to if you’re after some peace and quiet.

The tripe is worth trying, but the Iberian pork’s dressing takes away from the meat. The food overall didn’t stand out. The restaurant feels more like a bar, and the place is a bit old-fashioned.
