Dear Sylvia, you made us feel right at home. Our 8-month-old was with us, and the room had everything arranged well for the baby. We could use the kitchen as if it were our own, and the salt and magnesium water in the pool felt healing during our trip to Portugal. We also left behind two baby items, and they were sent to our home address in The Netherlands. Amazing, thank you! 🤍

The pool was lovely on a cold Saturday night, warm inside while it was chilly outdoors. Silvia even checked whether we needed bathrobes or anything else, so we wouldn't get cold on the way back to the house. My partner and I stayed in the little blue house last weekend while visiting the villages of Castile, and booking these inns turned out to be a great choice. Silvia kindly went over the house rules, the pool hours, and how to use the shared areas, which mattered since our husky is used to walking around the garden at home. The houses were cozy, and Silvia and her mother made the weekend easy for us. It was perfect. Thank you both, I'm sure I'll be back soon.

The heated indoor pool was the highlight for us, especially in the cold weather. It was clean and well looked after, and I'd rate it a 10 out of 10. The place has a magical feel, and Silvia was a wonderful host, checking often that we were having the best stay possible. A highly recommended experience.

The houses were clean, which was the one good thing I can say. The rules should be explained over the phone so people can decide whether to come. Instead, they paint a pretty picture and you arrive to a disappointment. The owner lives there and watches closely to make sure you don't do this or that. Her living there isn't the issue by itself, it's the constant checking, which made us really uncomfortable. We didn't come to wreck her house. We were told there was a large dining area, but we ended up squeezed into a living room, packed like sardines. We were also expected to return any extra plates or glasses to the specific house they came from. I'm not going to remember which house each item belongs to. The reasonable thing is to leave things as clean and tidy as possible. The pool has set hours like a public pool, and it wasn't working properly. During our three-day stay it was open for only two hours. The website shows the hours now, but they weren't posted when we were there. There was also a swim cap requirement and a warning not to splash water outside the pool because it makes the floor swell. That much money for two hours of pool time is outrageous. Check-in was another problem. The official time is 5 PM, but Silvia said an earlier arrival would be fine, so we got up really early and arrived at 1 PM. Her mother insisted check-in was at 5, which was a bad sign, and we weren't actually checked in until 2 PM. As for music, we were told we could play it until midnight or 1 AM, so on New Year's Eve I could have kept it on until 6 AM if I wanted. Don't be fooled by the deposit. She gives it back when you leave, but if you leave without the deposit, she won't return the full amount because she'll look for damage. And don't step on the grass, it's brand new.

The pool was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the quiet. At Las Postas, it made our weekend a restful mix of culture and gastronomy, and we'll be back. The cottages show how much care the hosts have put into them, with thoughtful details and furniture they've made themselves. They were warm and helpful, and had a magical way of introducing us to the region. The accommodation is a real gem for exploring Castile, with an excellent location right on the Camino de Santiago, near La Olmeda and the Palencia Mountains, and next to the Renaissance Fields.
