We were very happy to spend a night at this spectacular, rustic lodge at the base of the Picos de Europa, and wished we'd had a few more days. The hosts were gracious and welcoming despite the language gap. Out back, there were lovely sheep and a friendly dog wandering around. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and quiet, though housekeeping starting at 9am on Sunday disturbed the sleep a bit. A couple of things could be better: the bedside outlets in our room didn't work, and a small fridge would be really helpful in the warm months.

The owners, the views, and the shared living room with its fireplace were the best parts for us. I could have stayed there all winter reading. We spent two nights, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with great beds. We had two singles. Dinner at the hotel on our first night was a cheese plate, and we also recommend the continental breakfast we had on the last morning. Thank you, Angela and Miguel Angel!

We stumbled on this place by accident after failing to find parking in Potes, and were so glad we did. The menu's cocido lieganes with local sider and canonigos was the best ever, and even the bread was outstanding. It's a beautiful spot with great views of the picos de Europq and manicured gardens. We'll be back, and next time we'll stay in Hotel!

The food brought us back for dinner on another visit. It was far better than what we’d had in Potes, and the mountain views made a lovely extra. If you want a break from meat, try the vegetable gratin with local cheese. We’d stayed two nights at this beautiful place. Everything was clean, cared for, and quiet, with plenty of green space to relax and an outdoor pool for hot days. The owner was so friendly and kind, and the homemade local food was delicious.

The owners were delightful and really helpful, and we found the place very comfortable. We stayed in August with my husband. The full breakfast is a great choice before hiking!
