That was the worst stay I've had during a driving trip through nine countries and many hotels. The host was the worst I've encountered. I think the place would be better with someone else who can speak to guests or at least be polite to customers.

The room was wonderful, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. After hiking, that hot shower and cozy bed felt great. The host isn't especially friendly, as other reviews mention, but he isn't mean either, just blunt. The bar downstairs is a local dive, which is an experience in itself. The town is very quiet and has very little around, so it's worth thinking ahead about where to eat. I wish there were a good dinner place.

It’s easy to unwind here after work, and I think the accommodation in Camarasa should live up to what you’re hoping for. The first-floor rooms have been fully renovated, and the beds are really comfortable, good value too. There’s no proper meal service, just sandwiches, but guests can use a little kitchen to prepare something. If you need supplies, Cala Marta, a small shop near Cal Casiano, sells food you can cook there.

On my bike trip through Montsec, I stopped here and found the rooms clean and practical. The bar had cold drinks, but for lunch I needed to walk about 10 minutes to a restaurant.
