The setting is picturesque, with lovely nature and quiet around the apartment. It seems like a nice spot to escape the city with a pet, but my stay inside wasn’t good. The room smelled damp, perhaps because it’s close to the river, and the bed was extremely hard. The house and decor are old, and the staircase up to the room is very steep and felt a bit dangerous. There was construction going on, and drilling started around 8:30 in the morning on our first day. They were chipping at the thick walls, and the noise was unbearable. When we asked the owner whether work was planned, she said there wasn’t any, which counted against her.

I was there in October 2024 and wouldn’t recommend it. The room was dirty, the bed incredibly uncomfortable, and it felt very expensive. The view faces the road, and guests aren’t allowed to use the dock. It’s a great area for hiking, though I’m sure there are better places to stay.

Angels was a perfect host, always attentive to whatever her guests needed. The apartment looks out over the pond and allows pets, making it a lovely base for enjoying nature and switching off. It’s a peaceful little town with lots of charming corners, and a great place for climbing, hikes, and all sorts of non-motorized water activities. We’ll be back!

There’s a private dock leading down to the Segre River, and the location is really special. The village house is simple but has everything, and enjoying a stay here feels like a luxury.
