Apartaments Gràcia 4

We chose this apartment for a race on February 24th, and the starting line was only 500 meters away. David was fantastic from the start and kept us up to date. When we arrived, he showed us how the gate worked. Our parking was in La Riera, 200 meters away, and there were restaurants and bars just 50 meters from the apartment. It was very quiet, clean and tidy, with a bunk bed and a double bed, and it had everything we needed. We asked to stay until the race finished, around 12-13 hours, and that was no problem at all. Thank you very much!

The place was filthy, and they made us leave at 10 in the morning, supposedly so they could clean. My poor dog kept finding wood splinters, dust bunnies and dirt on the floor. I even found her trying to chew a diazepam pill and had to pull it out of her mouth. They charged 15 euros for the pet, but didn’t provide even a basic food or water bowl. The fridge was dirty, the table was covered in scuffs, and the sofa had several stains. There’s no elevator, and we were put on the third floor. At 80 euros a night, it wasn’t cheap. I wouldn’t go back even if it were free. Don’t stay here if you want somewhere clean and pleasant. Absolutely not recommended.

The apartment is well stocked and basically fine, though the cleaning could be better. The sofa bed sleeps two, but it’s really hard. Also, the only room with a blind is the master bedroom. At night a lot of light comes through the living room and single bedroom windows because a streetlamp is level with them and the blinds don’t block it. There are bars right downstairs, so there can be quite a bit of noise. One night they stayed open until 2:00 AM. Ferran, the owner, was helpful when we spoke with him a couple of times. Probably best for just a night or two.

For the price, it’s good value, and everything else was fine. The beds are uncomfortable, though, and the sofa bed is extremely hard. Only the main bedroom has a blind.
