The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was very good. But for several days there was a strong smell of dog feces in the hotel's common areas, which was unpleasant. We also asked for sheets suitable for a double bed, but were given only single sheets for the two single beds pushed together. It's a real shame, because otherwise the place could be quite nice.

We stopped for one night on the way to the deep south, and it's only five minutes from the highway. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was OK, and breakfast had enough choice and good coffee.

The family running this hotel are really welcoming and nice. Dogs are welcome, and breakfast is free. You can have breakfast all day and night long! The barkeeper is the best, and the bar prices are great. There are a few scratches or similar marks on the room furniture and walls, but everything works fine. We want to come back :)

The TV wasn't working, and after I reported it, nothing was done. Water wouldn't drain from the handbasin, and the pedal bin lid and toilet holder were broken. Breakfast was very poor: the cereal container was broken so cereal couldn't be dispensed, and the hot drinks machine was always empty. The hotel is badly maintained, and I'm surprised anyone wants to stay here. The bar seems to attract very noisy locals, so it's not a good place for a quiet evening drink.

It’s a nice, clean hotel in a great spot near the beach. The only downside for me was that nobody was at reception when I needed help.
