We were really pleased with our stay and have already asked to come back next year.

The hotel is fine, with the beach and amenities close by, and reception service was very good. Our room was good, but the view was appalling. There was a droning noise for most of the night, probably from a laundry, so a poolside room might be much better. Cleaning and fresh towels came every day. The food was okay, though the hot choices were never very hot. We tried dinner once, but it really wasn’t to our taste. It was a buffet, and the food wasn’t hot either, which was disappointing.

Our booked apartment fell through, leaving us wandering around Cambrils on a Saturday night trying to find a hotel. We were starting to feel like Mary and Joseph. Valeria at Hotel Monica was a lifesaver: she called other hotels for us and sorted out our taxi. I can’t thank her enough for the help. I wish they’d had a room available, but Valeria’s customer service deserves five stars xxx

Cambrils is a beautiful town, and it was a relief to find so few Brits there after seeing how some fellow Brits behaved on the flight over. Hotel Monica gave us a wonderful stay. Our pool view room had plenty of space, a fridge, a free safe, and really reliable free WiFi. The TV had ITV, C4 & C5. We saw decent entertainment by the pool on two of our three nights. The location is perfect, just two minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants. The pool area was great, breakfast had lots of choice, and the bar menu worked well for lunch by the pool. Staff were helpful, especially Angelica and Santos, who couldn’t do enough for us. Everyone worked hard to keep the place clean, and we appreciated it. Put on mosquito repellent, though. We forgot on the last night and got bitten quite badly. We totally recommend the hotel. Thank you, Hotel Monica!
