Pins Platja Apartments

September was so quiet, which made for a really relaxing stay, and I loved the location. The place was super clean and well organized, basic but had everything we needed. They offer a great breakfast selection and the pool area is amazing. For a good meal, I recommend Junior's. You can also take a lovely 20-minute walk along the sea to find loads of dining options near Salou beach.

The shop downstairs stays open late and has a good range of food and drinks, which was handy. We had a great time at Pins Platja: the apartment was much roomier and more comfortable than we expected, clean, and stocked with what we needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the location was great. We’re already planning to come back next year.

Everything else was great, but lunch didn’t offer enough meat choices for us. My kids love chicken, yet for the first three days there was only pork apart from lamb and chicken being listed as options. The hotel offers breakfast and lunch, and breakfast was good. I’d have given it five stars if lunch had more options.

The location and pool were both lovely, but the apartment felt dated. We stayed for a week as a family of four in a one-bedroom place, and the towels were changed once while the sheets weren’t changed at all. There was no bedding for the extra sofa beds either. The pool didn’t open until 10am, and nights were noisy, with no children’s entertainment in the evenings. The bar and restaurant staff were rude and very unprofessional.
