Hotel Rural Cristania

Nieves, who runs the place, was so kind and helpful, and we really appreciate the trust she showed us. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Nieves knows Las Hurdes and its villages so well. She gave us useful hiking information and lovely suggestions for places to eat and have dinner. We spent five days there, so we got to feel right at home. The hotel is Hotel Rural Cristiania, and it's very reasonably priced and well placed for visiting the villages. Breakfast is the only option, but the toast with tomato, olive oil, and ham was so good that we had the same thing for lunch every day. There are other kinds of toast too, and the bread is delicious. It was a wonderful five days. Thanks for everything, Nieves. We'll be back!

Nieves was a great host and helped us find lovely viewpoints, great food, beautiful natural pools, and walks we'll remember for a long time. We had a wonderful weekend, with a spacious, comfortable room and a great base for exploring the valleys of Las Hurdes. We'd definitely recommend staying here, and we'd happily return.

Parking was easy, with lots of space right across the street. The room was comfortable and lovely, and it had a balcony. There's also a market opposite on Tuesdays if you want to pick up fruit or vegetables. We were very happy with our short stay. They were attentive and explained what to see around Las Hurdes, even sending videos of the area's prettiest spots by WhatsApp.
