The location made it easy to walk to restaurants, and the beach was walkable too, as long as it wasn't too hot. René and Maarten were so helpful, and breakfast by the pool was the best. We also loved the well-stocked honesty bar for lazy hours at the house. Such a peaceful, fantastic spot for a long weekend or more. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

We’ve already recommended this place to friends and family. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it’s conveniently placed for Fuengirola. Being able to reach the coast by public transport was a bonus.

René is a passionate host, always happy to help and full of useful tips. We first stayed here four years ago, when we were among the first guests, and it was fantastic even then. Coming back still felt like coming home to Spain. We got a warm welcome, a lovely room, and a delicious breakfast. The garden and pool are wonderful too. I’d gladly return again.

Maarten and René make sure you have everything you need. The villa has lovely rooms, a beautiful garden, and a nice pool, with a delicious breakfast as well. Villa Maré feels like a little piece of paradise under the Spanish sun, and it’s a great base for trips around the area. Highly recommended!
