We spent 14 days in House 1. It could be a cozy place to stay, but it needs basic maintenance and care, which it clearly hasn't had. The bathroom is completely dilapidated. The shower tray is plastic and cracked in several places, patched up amateurishly with what looks like mud. The old sliding door is gone and there's a dirty shower curtain instead. Water drains at an ultra-slow pace, so you're left standing in it for ages, and there's nowhere to put shampoo or shower gel. The towel and toilet paper holders are unusable and barely attached. The window won't open or shut because its mechanism is broken, and the fixtures are completely rotten. You'd have to be very tough to spend a holiday here. We won't be back and can only advise people against it.

Homerti manages this rental, either directly or through Booking.com or Airbnb, and in my view shows no concern or sensitivity about COVID-19. I consider the company a scam because they keep your money whether your region prevents travel, you're high-risk, or you have the virus. What can we expect in terms of new outbreaks when companies act this way? Some families may travel while infected or suspecting they are infected just to avoid losing their money. In my opinion, that should be a crime against public health. I strongly recommend not booking here so you don't get scammed.

The service and arrangements were impeccable, and the location worked perfectly for us. My husband and I spent a week in the cottage and came away feeling wonderfully rested. It has such a peaceful, quiet atmosphere that made it easy to switch off completely. We’ll be back, and we’d highly recommend it.
