La Barraca de Culón

The village was a really nice surprise. I loved seeing farmers and craftspeople arrive in their vans on certain days to sell goods and bring supplies, filling gaps left by the shops. There isn't a fruit shop, for instance, so a very nice man comes from another town with his van. It gives the place an authentic feel that's disappeared from big cities. The house itself is comfortable, attractive, well equipped, and fairly priced. It suits a group that's neither too small nor too large, and we may well return someday. The shower heads could probably do with replacing since they're getting old, though they still work. We were very satisfied.

The owners, Aurora and her son, are lovely and very attentive, always willing to help if anything comes up. That's one reason we've stayed here three times. The house is laid out with comfort in mind. There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus another bathroom by the living room. The kitchen and living room have plenty of space, and the patio barbecue makes spending time there especially pleasant.

The breakfast was a lovely surprise, and the service and attention made the weekend one to remember. We had a wonderful time. The house is arranged into different areas that work well for sharing time together, and having a bathroom in every room made things very comfortable.

We stayed over Easter 2025 as a group of 12, and the house suited us perfectly. The kids had a play area, and there was a big terrace with a slide. It was fully equipped, and fresh-from-the-oven breakfast was brought to us every day. Juana was friendly and attentive, too. We loved the village and would definitely recommend the place for families or friends.
