The place is a little out of the way, but getting there by car is easy. Grado is 5 minutes away, and the beaches are 25 minutes away. We found one that allowed dogs. I went with a friend, and the girl who helped us was so kind and gave us great tips for places to visit and eat. We won't forget the stay.

The jacuzzi was the one good thing, but the stay was awful for my partner and me. The room was dirty, with cobwebs and a floor that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. When we turned down the bed, there was hair all over it, and it honestly seemed like the sheets hadn't been changed for a long time. I wouldn't recommend it.

Two years later, my partner and I still talk now and then about those ten days there. The mattress was comfortable, but that was about the only positive. The place was tiny and taken up mostly by a huge jacuzzi, which we used once. After a full day of hiking there wasn't even a sofa, and there wasn't a decent table either. Taking a shower every day was a struggle. Water went everywhere, and we nearly slipped getting up. Then there was the neighbor with the chainsaw, starting up at exactly 8:00 a.m. every morning and waking us. He'd spend the afternoon cursing at the neighbor next door. Another couple staying there argued with him about using it so early. We just wanted to mention it because that stay was awful and we still remember it. We don't think the reviews give an accurate picture. You shouldn't make a business out of misleading people or leaving out important details. We were warned beforehand that the wood-burning stove couldn't be used.

The owners were so attentive, always ready to help and suggesting things to do nearby. The jacuzzi room was fantastic, and being able to bring pets is a real plus. More places should allow that these days. It's a comfortable, clean, welcoming place in a wonderful setting. We'd definitely return.
