La Casona de Candamín

We had a packed schedule of visits and didn't get to enjoy the house as much as we'd have liked, but it was very welcoming and we felt comfortable. Having a bathroom in each room was especially convenient.

The houses are roomy and generally fine, but they feel damp, especially downstairs. The kitchenware is limited and not great if you want to cook, and the extra beds sagged. We rented the place hoping to have it to ourselves, though the owners live on the property and are very nice. Halfway through our stay, more of their family arrived and stayed in the attic. That isn't necessarily bad, but it wasn't what we wanted for a short break.

Conchi and Lucas deserve our warm congratulations. The house is lovely, very well equipped, and practical for a few days exploring Asturias. The bedrooms are spacious, with private bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked, including a microwave and dishwasher. We also appreciated the tasteful decor, the cleanliness, and its beautiful location beside the Nalón. Highly recommended for the quality and price.

The owners were friendly and attentive, and the house felt cozy and peaceful. We had a great time with the family. There's a great kitchen and dining room, and the rooms are spectacular. It's well located too, with plenty of places to visit within 30 min.
