We came as a family and split between camping, bungalows, and the hotel. It was great to have those different price and accommodation options and still be able to share the pool and bungalow terraces. The bungalow views were lovely, and they were clean and had what we needed, including cleaning supplies, a tablecloth, and tables inside and out. Nights were cool and fresh, a real relief while Madrid was sweltering. The small pool wasn't working, but the large one was open with a lifeguard, and the lawn around it was well cared for, with free loungers. Staff were friendly and relaxed, and were working on some improvements in the hotel restaurant area. It's a small campsite within walking distance of the village. I'd definitely come back.

Really peaceful little campsite, and the toilets and washrooms were very clean. Cozy place. Highly recommend it!

Before booking a night here, I'd ask whether the access road has been repaired. We couldn't get in when we reached the entrance, and the road was closed too. Getting back out through the cobbled village was very difficult. Once we were inside, the man running the campsite just told us foreigners were allowed in. Two people from Candelario kindly helped us leave, though the narrow streets made it a struggle. I can only give it one star because the site requires a rating to post. From what I saw at the entrance, the place looked completely neglected.

The location is quiet and a little outside town, though the center is only a few minutes away. Our 20-person mountaineering club from Cantabria stayed at the hotel from May 22nd to 25th, and Juan and Lola made us feel at home. They were attentive and flexible about breakfast and dinner times. The facilities and service were both great. Highly recommended.

The toilets in the men's restroom were very clean, and the pitches are shaded. The campsite sits on terraces, though, and the stairs have high, uncomfortable steps. There's a pool, and the entrance gate closes at 11:00 PM. It's part of a complex with a hotel and grill. I don't know if they're renovating, but the welcome from the service wasn't great. Breakfast only runs until 11:00 AM, and there's no lunch on Thursdays or Fridays. Even getting a drink and taking it to the terrace was difficult.
