AGH Canet

Our family had a great stay. The rooms were huge and bright, and the all-inclusive food was above average in both range and quality. The pool was shut for construction, though.

I was there from the 4th to the 8th of August 2025. The spacious 4-star hotel was well maintained, and the pool was a lovely way to cool down after being in the sun. It made for a relaxing stay. The beach is about 200 metres away, so we could get there easily without transport. Valencia is around 60km off, which gives the hotel a quieter coastal feel if that's what you're after. Breakfast and dinner were both buffet style, with plenty of choices for different tastes. The food was fresh and nicely prepared, and they kept topping it up. Staff were courteous and helpful, and things went smoothly from check-in through dinner. There is free public parking nearby, but finding a space can be tricky at busy times. The hotel parking costs €18 per night, so it's something to weigh up for convenience. I'd come back, especially for the pool and the beach being so close.

We were cold at night with just a thin sheet on the bed. There was a blanket in the closet, but no duvet cover, so we couldn't tell if it was clean.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the beach is close by. I spent a week here and found it a very nice place to stay. The food could be better, though.
