Great location, and the staff were really helpful and flexible.

We spent ten days here and truly felt at home. The owner was lovely and quick to respond whenever we needed anything, and our hostess was incredibly kind, offering advice and help. I much prefer this sort of accommodation to a guesthouse. The apartment sits in the heart of the old town, close to shops and restaurants and across from the huge beach with its two beach restaurants. It's not exactly a hotel, but the restored old building is extraordinary, decorated in a tasteful Baroque style with antiques and modern furniture, paintings, mirrors, and old tapestries. With the shutters closed, the building stays cool. There's air conditioning in the main living room and a fan in the bedroom, which was plenty for us. We had the ground-floor suite, with a lovely terrace and garden that looked especially beautiful at night under the indirect lighting. From the rooftop terrace, you get an incredible 360-degree view of the town and coastline. The sunset was magnificent, and the outdoor sofas made it a comfortable place to relax. For parking, a nearby lot offers a weekly pass. It's guarded, has a secure entrance, and the pass let us come and go whenever we wanted for our sightseeing plans.

What we found here was completely different from what was advertised online. The person who showed us around was extremely forward and quickly made advances toward my partner. The place is overrated and very expensive, with no basic services such as room or linen cleaning.

We've stayed in over 30 countries, and this may be the best hotel we've ever visited. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, and some have terraces. The interior is so unique that you want to look at every detail. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: a microwave, TV, radio with a decent choice of channels, a mini kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a large bed with a comfortable mattress, plenty of blankets, extra pillows, and a heater. Xavier made the stay especially welcoming. He's warm, responsive, speaks excellent Russian, and is always ready to help in an emergency. He brings breakfast to your room after agreeing on the time and what you'd like to eat. We had sandwiches with ham or cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee, all delicious. The location is excellent too, just 250 meters from the station and across the road from the beach. We really regretted staying only two nights. Xavier, THANK YOU!!!
