Casa Gloria

I spent a few days here in June 2016, and they’re among the days I’ll remember for the rest of my life. The owners go out of their way to make your stay wonderful and unforgettable, and both the house and its location are spectacular. The surrounding area is some of the most beautiful in Spain. I hiked the Muniellos forest trails and the Moal Route and took the best photos of my life. The scenery is stunning. I also must mention Cangas del Narcea, which is very beautiful too.

They make a real effort to help guests feel at home. My family and I have stayed in lots of places, but this kind of kindness and friendliness, and this genuine wish to please, is rare. We stayed here while visiting Muniellos, and it was perfect. Other nearby places include Riodeporcos, the Ermita del Acebo, Bodegas Monasterio, and the Parador. Oh, and don’t miss dinner at Casa Grabelon in Gedrez. The T-bone steaks are top-notch.

We rented the whole fantastic house for a couple’s trip during Easter week. Mari and Manuel are lovely. We’ll definitely be back! Hugs, Edu and Cris!

It’s quiet and cozy, surrounded by nature and very close to the Muniellos Integral Nature Reserve. The owners are friendly and available whenever you need them, and breakfast is homemade and hearty. Definitely worth coming back. My full support after the recent fires. Cheers!
