La Posada del Chano

We spent two incredible days here with friends. There was plenty to enjoy around the house, including the jacuzzi, pool, and games area, and the surroundings were peaceful, with animals and birdsong but no other noise. The house is spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, and a kitchen and dining room on both floors. I’d definitely recommend it for a few days of relaxing and having fun together.

The owners, Monica, Carlos, Saray, and Davinia, were so kind and welcoming, and always around if we needed anything. We’ve travelled for over 20 years and haven’t met people this lovely before. They even sent us off with eggs from their hens. We’re planning to come back next summer and stay longer. The house is spotless and has what you need for cooking, along with all the little kitchen supplies like dish soap, paper towels, and cloths. We didn’t need to bring anything from home. There’s a barbecue, and the basement games room has foosball, a pool table, and a TV for playing music. The kids had a great time there. It’s a beautiful two-story house with amazing views and a very peaceful setting. Cangas de Narcea is only about 15 minutes away on a good road. My daughter loved her upstairs bedroom with its own bathroom, and she was especially taken with the staircase.

Carlos and his daughter Davinia were lovely, helpful hosts, and their dog Laion was very affectionate and well behaved. The house was huge and had everything we needed. It was very clean throughout, including the outdoor barbecue area, and had a pool, jacuzzi, and games room. We had a wonderful four days and have only good things to say. Thanks for everything, we’ll definitely come back!

The kids especially loved the pool, jacuzzi, and games room. It was a spectacular house and a great place to spend a weekend.
