Hotel Los Lagos Nature

The staff were seldom at the desk and didn't seem service minded. Asking a question made me feel as if I were bothering them. One night, several guests including us couldn't get back in because the guest card wouldn't work. We called and even tried to hold the doors open out of desperation; fortunately, another guest arrived with a working card and let us all in. The room had no air conditioning, and it was hot with no breeze. With the windows open it was noisy because we faced the public parking lot behind the hotel. Parking there requires payment from 9am to 3pm, while free spaces are three or four blocks away. There was no coffee service in the room. The downstairs restaurant would have helped, but it was closed for two days during our stay. I'd look for somewhere else if I visited this area again.

The town-centre location was nice, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, though a nearby bar caused some noise at night. Breakfast was average, and the dinner menu had little choice.

I couldn't even fit my suitcase in the tiny room, which felt old. The mattress sloped to one side, so I kept feeling like I'd slide out. Noise carried from the hall and other rooms. For an old hotel like this, the price was too high, unfortunately.

There wasn't any water in the room, or tea or coffee.
