For the price, it was decent. The room and bathroom were okay, and the landlady was wonderful, really attentive. My partner was practically showering in cold water, though. The TV was a little old CRT, and small. There were also a few cobwebs and some dust.

The room was clean and had its own bathroom, though I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower. The bed in my room had broken slats. The woman at the guesthouse was very helpful, and it’s not bad for the price. Just keep in mind they take cash only, no cards.

The only good things were that it was clean and quiet. Otherwise, it was a disappointing stay. My reserved room had been given to guests who extended their stay, so I got a small room looking out only onto an old roof. The folding extra bed had a 5 cm mattress that hurt my back, the TV didn’t work, the shower fitting was broken, and there was no hairdryer. I was charged the same price, and I didn’t have a card to pay with. The house is also more cut off from the village than it looks.

Conchita was so friendly and attentive, and did everything she could to make us comfortable. We stayed five days with our two dogs, and they were welcome. A friendly kitten would show up now and then and made friends with them. The rooms are simple but cozy, fresh smelling, and spotless, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. There were plenty of blankets, and the heating worked well. Outside there’s a lovely covered porch with a big table, a nice spot to sit in the evening and enjoy the quiet, or have a cigarette if you smoke. It’s about a five minute walk to the town center, close enough that we could leave the car behind for breakfast, but far enough away to be peaceful at night, with no noise or cars. Great value for money. We’d definitely come back.
