The building site next door was so loud that nobody could sleep, and without air conditioning we managed no more than four hours at a time. The owners’ son came into the house every day, shouting for no reason and aggressively pushing an overpriced boat trip. The owner also came in each day to collect the cat poop from the 10-20 street cats that roam around the house at night. The pool wasn’t properly installed and felt like a serious risk, since you could easily break your leg. The owners were more than rude throughout our week in July. This was the worst travel experience I’ve had in a long time, and there are plenty more reasons not to spend a holiday here.

The house made a lovely base for our family of four from Germany, and after a week in Capdepera we wished we could have stayed longer. It’s a traditional Mallorcan home, renovated with care and equipped with modern comforts. We especially enjoyed cooling off in the courtyard pool after hot days, while the children played and we read in the shade. The roof terrace was cozy too. We could walk to the center in just a short time, and the Wednesday market was a highlight for its fresh fruit, local cheese, and handmade goods. We also visited Capdepera’s medieval castle for the fantastic coastal views. By car, Cala Mesquida and Cala Agulla were only 10-15 minutes away. In the evenings we often cooked outdoors or ate at one of the nice restaurants in town. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, with lots of tips for places to visit and eat. A wonderful family holiday, and we’d happily come back.

We felt right at home and would love to return. The hosts were friendly, reliable, and always available. Everything was very clean, well equipped, and furnished with lovely attention to detail. The outdoor space, especially the pool, was a highlight. Fantastic place in a beautiful part of Mallorca. 💙

We had a wonderful 11 days here. The spacious layout, privacy, and terrace would work especially well for two families or three couples. The beach, promenade, and shops are all easy to reach on foot, and communication with the owner was simple. The house was clean when we arrived. A few things could be better for a longer stay. The kitchen is very sparsely equipped, with no can opener, hardly any suitable dishes, and quite a bit of worn equipment. The whirlpool and counter-current pool features didn’t work. There’s no air conditioning in the bedrooms, as clearly stated, and they get very hot in May and June; the fans are basic and worn. Mid-stay cleaning, especially fresh linens and towels, would also be welcome. Even with those drawbacks, we’d gladly come back. The communication, location, layout, and space matter more to us.
