We spent six nights here and were extremely disappointed. The hotel was described as recently “renovated,” but our room was clearly unfinished. There were no blackout curtains at first, holes in the walls, and a loose shower head that fell and injured my partner. The air conditioning leaked heavily, the bathroom flooded, the room phone didn’t work, and there was a horrible smell. Then the fire alarm went off at 6 AM with no explanation. The staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. They dismissed our complaints, made xenophobic remarks, refused to move us to another room, and even threatened to call the police instead of helping. The manager had no real solution, went back on a refund promise, and misled Booking.com about our case. A terrible experience, nowhere near a 3-star standard. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The pool area was a highlight: a big pool for adults and kids, loads of sun beds, and a pool bar for a beer or snack while relaxing. The hotel is well placed too, with the beach, bars, and restaurants only a few hundred meters away. There’s no hotel car park, but a free one next door, and we had no trouble parking. The staff were great, always greeting us and helping when needed. Our room was clean and fresh after the renovation. The main issue was a foul smell, probably from the shower pipes, which was annoying at times. We also had to switch rooms because the air conditioning in the first one only blew a little cold air and couldn’t cope with the heat. It worked much better in the new room. Food was okay for a 3-star hotel, though the products used could often have been better. If you’re planning to travel around the island, based on my experience I’d avoid half board, since you’d have to rush back for a dinner that isn’t especially promising. Overall, we had a great stay. With a few more upgrades, the hotel could be even better.

The staff made the biggest difference for us. From arrival on, they dealt with every concern my wife and I raised promptly and warmly. Their courteous attention turned each little hiccup into a chance to impress, and they managed it every time. The hotel had been completely renovated just a few days before our stay, and the rooms looked so fresh, elegant, and carefully designed that the Google photos didn’t do them justice. The pool was spectacular, with crystal-clear water, plenty of space to sunbathe, and a calm atmosphere where I spent all my relaxation time. The self-service buffet was generous, with a choice of light salad, hearty pasta, or something sweet, so you could pick what suited you. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Modern luxury, a fabulous pool, flexible food, and service that cares. Absolutely recommended!

Breakfast was good, the drinks at the hotel were good too, and the location made it easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Cleaning was done daily and they did a good job. We stayed six days, though the welcome on arrival didn’t feel as warm as we’re used to at hotels. The bathroom had a bad smell from the pipes. The old air conditioning barely cooled the room until it had been running for hours, and it was covered in mold. They cleaned it after I complained. On our last night, before leaving for another part of the island, a fire alarm woke us at 04:00. It turned out to be a false alarm caused by a water leak. It’s okay for a couple of days if the smell doesn’t bother you, but I wouldn’t book a room here again.
