Universal Apartamentos Laguna Garden

We had a great stay in a quiet spot that wasn't crowded, with the beach close by. The room was clean, the sheets were changed every 2-3 days, and the pool was cleaned daily. The only snag was reception: it seemed to close around 14h, so we had to use another hotel's reception a few hundred meters down the road. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

The food was excellent, and from the pool, bar, or sun loungers it was only about 60 meters across the beach to the beautiful sea. Meals are served in the main building by the beach, just a 3-5 minute walk away. The apartments are spacious and well kept. Although the complex is on a one-way main road, a dense hedge shields the ground floor apartments, and traffic is negligible, so it stays especially quiet at night. What more could you want?

Breakfast and dinner at the nearby hotel started out as ordinary Spanish food, fine but nothing special. After a review midweek, though, it improved a lot and was very good. The apartment complex itself is lovely and has good amenities. Even in this small town, there's a fairly busy road beside it, with quite heavy traffic in the evenings.

The entrance door lets in a lot of noise, so the apartment wasn't very soundproof. Still, we had a lovely vacation, with beautiful apartments and well-kept grounds. The hotel, about 300/400 meters away, had good-quality food and very friendly staff. Definitely recommended overall.
