Hotel Rural Alfajía de Antonio

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute, and would happily book again on a future visit to Capileira. The owners were fabulous, and the whole hotel was spotless. Our large first-floor double room was wonderfully quiet, with a private terrace, a super comfortable king-size bed, and good-quality all-natural cotton linens and towels. The spacious bathroom had a great hot shower every day. We also loved the communal area and rooftop terrace, where it was easy to connect with like-minded travelers. Restaurants and shops are close by, parking is nearby, and we barely used the car since the Capileira tracks were easy to reach on foot. The bus stop for the shuttle to higher mountain areas is very close too. Thank you for having us.

A wonderful stay, thanks again! It’s a lovely family-owned hotel, and I felt very welcome. Everything was super clean, the common area and kitchen were great, and the terrace has the most stunning view. The kitchen is equipped for breakfast, though there’s no stove. It’s also a good base for hikes in the area.

It’s really handy for heading to or coming back from the Sierra Nevada, and solo travelers get a very good price. The hotel sits right in the middle of town, beside a parking area. The staff were great, welcoming me warmly and giving me useful advice. I liked the place a lot.

We made good use of the shared kitchen room, which opens onto a lovely roof terrace. There’s a supermarket around the corner, so we could pick up food and make our own breakfast. Our room was a good size and clean, and the host was very friendly. They also gave us loads of useful tips, from where to find the bakery to which hiking routes to take. An excellent hotel in every way.
