Pension Sol y Playa

The location was unbeatable, but I was disappointed, especially by the cleanliness. There was hair and shower gel in the shower drain, the washed towels still weren't very clean, and I found fingerprints on the TV, dust, and papers under the beds. The wardrobe looked good in the photos but was half-empty, and the refrigerator inside took up what little space was left. The decor was awful. Also, the balcony door was incredibly hard to close, while a draft kept pushing the bedroom door open. I think it could be much better.

The food is very good and reasonably priced, and there's a restaurant below the rooms with an ice cream shop next door. The location is excellent, the service is friendly, and they reply quickly to any inquiry.

The restaurant food was very good, and the staff gave exceptional service and attention. The location is excellent, right on the seafront promenade and beachfront. One drawback is the tiny balcony, where there's no room to sit and enjoy the view.

For 80 euros, you'd expect them to change your plate, but they left us eating among overflowing garbage. The seafood platter itself was mediocre, and the service was even worse. There were five waiters on the terrace, but only two were serving. The waiter who looked after us wasn't especially friendly, though he was acceptable and overwhelmed. His colleagues just stood with their hands on their hips, watching people walk along the promenade. He finally brought the seafood utensils, so we wouldn't break our nails, and the plates we needed twenty minutes earlier when we had only four clams left. He was sweating profusely by then.
