We do NOT recommend this place to anyone. The Mimosa had been booked, and we were offered another house in Cartes, Corral. It was horrible, extremely dirty, full of cobwebs and spiders, and very damp. When we called the owner, he said he’d refund us and that we should leave. With 17 adults and children, finding somewhere else wasn’t easy. He could at least have sent a cleaner. Beware!

We spent five days here with four friends on an unforgettable motorcycle trip, and we’ll definitely be back. The house is beautiful, and this family has extraordinary taste for rural life. The hosts were the best I’ve had, even after quite a few trips like this.

Blanca and Nando were so welcoming, and that chocolate they made for us as a welcome gift was the best I’ve ever tasted! We had two amazing days with four adults and three little ones, aged one and four, who had a fantastic time. The house was wonderful, especially for daytime barbecues and sitting by the fireplace at night. We’ll definitely be back!

The patio is wonderful, with so many lovely details and a barbecue to enjoy. Inside, the house looked even better than we expected, tastefully decorated and clearly cared for by the owners. It was also surprisingly cool indoors during the heat wave at the end of August. We stayed at La Mimosa for a couple of days as a couple with our two older children. Nando greeted us when we arrived, and from the start he treated us with real warmth and friendliness. Thank you, Blanca and Nando, for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.
