The setting is stunning, and the guest house is close to the centre of Cangas de Onis as well as the Covadonga sanctuary and lakes. Miguel was really friendly, and the house felt authentic and was very clean. A fantastic place to stay.

The garden is spacious, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. We got to stay in two of them and loved both. Casa Riosol is lovely inside and out, and you can tell Miguel and his parents have put so much care into it. Miguel was also a great source of local tips, and we really enjoyed talking with him. If you love nature, authentic buildings, and genuine people, I can't think of a better spot to enjoy the Asturias. We hope to return one day.

We had full access to the lovely gardens and the historical hórreo. Casa de Aldea Riosol is a peaceful, beautiful guesthouse in a quiet valley in Asturia, and Miguel and his parents were generous with their time and very accommodating. It’s a great place to rest while exploring Asturia or the Picos. I can’t imagine finding somewhere more suitable.

A little bit of paradise.

The room was roomy and comfortable, with a view over the garden. After dark it was so quiet, with just the river murmuring in the background. The dining room has a fully automatic coffee machine, microwave, kitchenware, and a fridge for storing food if you want to put together a quick dinner or breakfast. We had a really pleasant weekend stay for two nights. The place has loads of character and attention to detail, and felt like home. After only 500 meters from the road, you're surrounded by greenery, a river, and mountains. Thanks, Miguel, for being so friendly and attentive from booking right through to our departure. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommended.
