Posada La Casa Del Pintor

The hotel itself was spotless despite being in a relatively old building. It used to belong to a renowned local painter, whose work and some information about him can be found on the upper floors and at the town museum. Breakfast was great too, traditional Spanish home style with thoughtful details. Carmona has a lovely local feel without the slightly touristy atmosphere of Sevilla. Our arrival was a bit of a disaster because I'd left my whole bag, including my passport and other personal things, in an Uber. The owners were there when I realized and treated it like it was their own problem. They helped me so much, and even though some things went missing, I managed to find most of my belongings. The whole town pitched in, including the police and local civil members. I couldn't have recovered what I did without the owners' help, and they showed such wonderful Spanish hospitality. After that rough start, Carmona became one of my favorite places after visiting more than 50 cities in Europe. I'd recommend staying here 100%.
