Nidos de Carnota

Just right.

The quiet we came for was absolutely there, and we'll definitely return. We stayed two nights in December in a cabin with a pool and jacuzzi. The heated pool was lovely and comfortably warm. Breakfast was tasty and generous, and the cabin had a paid minibar, capsule coffee machine, hairdryer, and hair straightener, a great bonus. For dinner you can order sandwiches, pizza, canned food, or drinks, and some local restaurants deliver too. The cabins are lovely, though they could use a little more maintenance.

Everything was spotless, and you can tell a lot of care went into the details. The cabins are beautiful, cozy, and very well kept, set in nature where it's easy to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and quality products. They also offer light dinner snacks, delivered right to your cabin door and nicely prepared. A special stay for relaxing and enjoying yourself. We'll return and wholeheartedly recommend it.

The place has good facilities, lovely views, and good food, but the maintenance and cleaning were inadequate. It looked as if only a quick surface clean had been done. We found hair, cobwebs, sand, debris from repairs, papers, used flip-flops, algae in the pool, dirty windows, and loads of dust that clearly hadn't built up in just one day. There was mold in the shower, rusty screws, and trees that had been broken for a while. The bathrobes were children's sizes, and the repairs looked like they were done carelessly. Such a shame it isn't managed better.
