Pedro and Juan are so welcoming and friendly, they make you feel like family. The attention and professionalism are unmatched, and the homemade food is exceptional. A fantastic spot. If you're visiting Carnota, you have to stop at O Prouso!

The owners make sure you're looked after and quickly make you feel at home. The rooms are spotless, and the homemade food is delicious. Best calamari and pulpo I've ever eaten.

Pedro has such a natural charm and made us feel like family from the start. He's an incredible host, and the restaurant downstairs serves excellent food. We had the best tortilla. If you're in the area, you should absolutely stay here.

We stopped in at lunchtime today, just wanting Tapas, and made that clear to Peter, the owner. He brought bread and ham to our table and said they were complimentary. They weren't, and we felt we'd been stitched up. I found him very dishonest. Carnota is a beautiful village, and this gives it a bad name. Shame on you.

The room was clean and even had a rocking chair. The staff were nice and offered to help with our luggage. The walls don't block much sound, though, so we could hear the hallway and the neighbors.
