Hoces del Duratón

Isabel made us feel so welcome and kept checking that we had everything we needed. The house itself was spotless, beautifully cared for, and stocked with everything you might need, plus a little more. We had a spectacular few days at Casa Rural Hoces del Duratón. It’s a 10 out of 10 for both the home and the hospitality. We’ll come back and recommend it to everyone.

The house has plenty of room, with large bedrooms that each have their own bathroom, plus an extra toilet by the spacious living and dining area. There’s also a garden, porch, barbecue, and games for kids and grown-ups, including table football. Isabel was attentive from our first contact and helped make the stay comfortable, with suggestions for local tours and activities. The area is well worth exploring too, from the Hermitage of San Frutos and Hoces de Duratón Natural Park to medieval Pedraza, nearby villages known for good food, and enjoyable walking trails. We’d happily stay here again.

Isabel’s warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel at home, and the house sits in a lovely setting in Carrascal del Río. It’s beautiful, roomy, comfortable, well decorated and equipped, and clearly very well maintained. Thanks for the hospitality, Isabel. We’ll definitely return.

We spent five days here with our dog and seven people, over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and the memories will stay with us. Isabel had taken care of all the little details, including Christmas decorations that were with us throughout the visit.
