María and Álvaro looked after us wonderfully at this excellent place for families with children. The kids had a great time with the pine trees, geese, goats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. The food was excellent too, made with ingredients from their own farm.

We’ve been here four times, maybe more, and somehow each stay feels new while still feeling like home. It’s a fantastic family run place where nature lovers and people who enjoy good food will be happy, because everything is delicious. It’s a lovely way to step away from the city and reconnect with nature. Thank you for everything. My daughter Naira wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

We came with four children, and they loved feeding the animals and learned a lot. We were just as pleased. The homemade food deserves a special mention: reasonably priced and some of the best I’ve tasted. The place is in a beautiful setting, the owners, Álvaro and his mother, gave impeccable service and were always attentive, going beyond what we could have asked. Everything was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

The farm was a highlight for us. The animals are cared for and can roam freely while still having shelter, food, and medical attention. There are rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, turkeys, and more. It was quite something to see the geese and ducks come from the river to be fed with the goats. The goats were my favorite, especially watching them come down the mountain and feeding them by hand. Kids can ride, brush, and feed the ponies too. I became very attached to Estrella. The suite worked brilliantly for us and our daughter, with two separate bedrooms, each with a whirlpool tub, and a huge living room between them. It was spotless, and the furniture had vintage charm, with the feel of pieces that have a story rather than being old or neglected. The food was so good and natural that we stayed longer just to eat there. Nearly everything comes from their own garden, and my daughter loved the zucchini soup. María was a delight and always attentive, Álvaro looked after the farm and was incredibly patient with the children, and Manolo’s cooking had that real, old-fashioned flavor. We had a wonderful weekend and everything was perfect. The setting is completely natural, with trees, mountains, and the river all around. We recommend it to families with children and to anyone who loves nature and animals. We’ll definitely be back.
