Albergue Cabrales

This felt crooked and unfair. I made a booking by mistake and cancelled it within minutes. We politely asked them to waive the fee since the cancellation hadn’t cost them anything, but they ignored us and kept the €90.

A lovely place in a peaceful location.

The way the waitress treated one of our classmates was the worst part. She was very unprofessional and aggressive, and my teacher had to step in. I wouldn’t go back. I was there for five days on a school trip with friends, and the accommodation and meals were disappointing throughout. Our rooms were cramped for three people, with stained walls, a dirty floor, poor ventilation, and noise carrying from other rooms. My friends’ bathroom door was broken, so there wasn’t much privacy. There were bugs, some furniture was broken, and the smell was strange. At dinner, the second course was fries every day, until I couldn’t stand them anymore. The meals weren’t suitable for children either. On the first day we were served pea soup, so we ended up eating only potatoes. The picnic food wasn’t much better: my friend got moldy, unappetizing fruit two days in a row, and the sandwich turned bluish over the morning because the fruit was moldy.
