The rooms are quiet, spacious, and very clean, and the location is great. We had a twin and a double bed. But the Wi-Fi didn't work in our first-floor room at all. It was slow at first, then such a hassle that none of us could get a decent signal, so I had to use my SIM and burn through my data. For the price, they need to improve the coverage. I couldn't find any place to wash or hang clothes, so I used the sink and window. I walked both floors and didn't see laundry facilities. Reception also spent too long drawing a paper map and explaining breakfast and dinner. After six or seven hours of hiking, it was annoying to stand there waiting. Just give people the names so they can look them up on Google. Still, the rooms were very nice, and thanks for a pleasant stay, but the Wi-Fi needs fixing.

Private rooms for €40 on the Camino Santiago, with very friendly staff and helpful suggestions. If you're there on a Sunday, they'll offer a couple of restaurant options. Call ahead to reserve, since locals fill them up too.

The receptionist gave us useful tips on sights and places to eat, and made us feel welcome. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. It's an easy walk to everything you'd want to see in the city, and I'd happily stay here again if I get the chance.

The manageress may come across as a tiger protecting her cubs, including you when you check in, so don't be put off. We were looked after well, and everything was run smoothly. The rooms are clean and nice, and the location right on the main square is perfect. Double-glazed windows shut out the noise easily.
