La Casa de la Pradera

It’s lovely, traditional Spanish accommodation. The staff are very friendly, and staying there feels almost like being in someone’s home.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed for two nights and had a great time. The breakfast was excellent, and the service was warm and friendly. It’s a family-run place, so I don’t get some of the reviews that seem to expect a hotel chain. I’d recommend it for a few nights in the village.

I’m here for work right now because they booked me into this hotel. I came hoping to get nine hours of rest, but with doors being slammed and the heat, sleep has been impossible. There’s no air conditioning or even a fan in the room. I’m almost ready to take my pillow into the shower. What a journey back I’ve got ahead of me. It’s a shame they haven’t put anything into the inside, because the exterior is so beautiful.

I booked the apartment for one day to try it out, and what an experience. The owner’s dog barked at the cats outside the window while two children were inside, one just 15 months old. Worse, the bar music was blasting even though they knew other guests had children trying to sleep. The worst 85 euros I’ve ever spent. He told me to leave the apartment as I found it. I had to leave, but I’m throwing everything away! 😡😡😡😡😡
