Apartamento Duque Centro Histórico

For a few days, the apartment had everything we needed and was well equipped. Its location was the best part, super close to everything. We did miss having shampoo. Building access could be improved too. When an apartment can fit several people, one set of keys isn’t enough. Two sets, or a code based entry system without a physical key, would be better.

Just a studio for two, nothing more. It was clean and in a fantastic downtown location. We didn’t see anyone, but they were attentive around check-in, so there were no problems.

The access instructions arrive after booking: call a phone number to open the door, then get the keys from a lockbox beside it. Across the street, Bar Sol does a great breakfast and tapas, and there’s also a very good kebab if that’s your thing. The apartment is nice, spacious and well equipped, right in central Cartagena, with reasonably priced parking nearby. I’m not giving it a perfect 10 because there’s no view, and the kitchen is in a rather long hallway. The bathroom is small but adequate, just inside the entrance, while the living room is at the far end. For the price, I don’t think you can ask for more.

The host was very attentive and helped us with several things we asked for. The place was perfect.
