Elisa was so lovely and helpful! The little studio has everything you need, and the terrace has a beautiful view of Badilica. I’ll be back!

The host was really attentive and helpful, and the place was clean enough. The historic center is easy to explore from here, so it worked for one night, though there’s room for improvement. The attic itself isn’t bad, but you can hear everything because the rooms don’t have closed ceilings, which means there’s no privacy for couples. The pipes smell unpleasant, the bathroom sink is tiny, and the kitchen is short on utensils. There’s also no table in the living room for five, and the mattresses are a bit uncomfortable.
We’ll definitely come back to Cartagena. The room was lovely and had stunning views, and the staff were attentive and very polite. The location is hard to beat, right in the city center, with shops and restaurants just two minutes away. 100% recommended 🙌
We were very comfortable in this nicely decorated apartment in the old town. We came as a family, and the location was great. The only thing missing was some basic cooking stuff like oil, salt, and sugar. Otherwise, it was fantastic.
The apartment has a terrace, a comfortable sofa, a big smart TV, and a fridge and freezer that work well. It’s a bright penthouse on the top floor, in a renovated older building, though some finishing work still seems to be needed. It’s well placed for visiting historical sites, but I don’t think I’ll return to Cartagena. A few things inside bothered us. The door still has its old lock, so there’s only a deadbolt. The mattress and pillows had yellowish stains, one terrace lounger was broken, and the kitchen cutlery was limited. The toilet should have had the original porcelain bowl instead of plastic. Pets are allowed, but the cost should be made clear. Those of us traveling with pets don’t mind paying. The plastic table and chairs on the terrace are exposed to the sun and will rot, so use a parasol or awning. In the building, the stairs are renovated up to the first floor, but the rest are old, with rounded edges that make them slippery. I also saw dead cockroaches on the stairs. There’s a custom-built elevator in the stairwell that fits two people. Across the street, the church is under construction, though it won’t bother you if you’re out in the morning. The neighborhood struck me as dirty and poor. A few blocks away there’s a junkyard, really a dirt lot full of trash, with people asking for money. It’s free.
