Apartamentos Decumano Romano

They moved us from the third floor to the first because we had things for the baby, but even the new apartment wasn’t ready. The service was horrible, unprofessional, and the staff and/or managers seemed utterly incompetent. The apartment was nothing like the advert. We’d warned them we were traveling with a baby, yet they first sent us to the third floor, with no elevator. The parking garage was four blocks away, and a medium-sized car couldn’t fit in the space. The crib didn’t work, and they still hadn’t refunded our money after 14 days. The advertised terrace was just a balcony. The stairs were very narrow and offered no soundproofing at all. Maybe it could work for a one-night party, but nothing more. There are a hundred better places nearby, including hotels we spotted while walking around. Too late for us, it was a bad experience.

It’s right downtown in a quiet area, close to everything, but I thought it was expensive. I was put on the fourth floor, up 80 steps on a narrow staircase, with no elevator. The apartment had been poorly renovated, and the furniture was the only thing that saved it.

The apartment was okay, but cleanliness was poor. I found an earring on the bed, so I doubt the sheets had even been changed, and the yellow sofa was filthy. They also insisted that we take out the trash. The whole reservation was done by phone, so I didn’t even know who the owners were. Despite being downtown, the area had no atmosphere or anything, and once you leave the apartment, you could be in Cartagena or Morocco. I didn’t like it.

These modern apartments are right in the city center and come with parking. There’s no elevator, but for the price, they’re definitely worth it.
