We were fine here for one night, though I'd pay a little extra next time for a better-quality hotel. The room was okay, and the staff were, as ever, helpful and very friendly. The cold water in the morning was disappointing. We'd also assumed the hotel had its own parking space for electric cars, but it didn't.

Brian greeted us with a smile as soon as we arrived. He's a friendly, capable receptionist who speaks several languages, including English and German. Elena and the rest of the team were lovely too. The rooms are roomy and clean, with thorough daily cleaning and fresh towels; the mirrors and shower were spotless. The mattresses felt a bit too soft to us, though that's down to taste. The location near the Old Town is hard to beat. Parking beside the hotel is easy to get to, but it's too small for SUVs. Breakfast is simple and the choice is limited, but everything was fresh. There's tasty chocolate, plus free tea and coffee by reception all day. We'd recommend the hotel.

We were so glad to find this hotel. The staff were thoughtful and helpful, and our room was spacious, quiet, and an easy walk from the sights and shops.

We had trouble finding a place to park our motorbike, but Sorin quickly came to our aid. Thanks again, Sorin. The room was a good size, clean, and the staff were great. The location was great too.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The hotel and its surroundings were spotless, and cafes, restaurants, markets, the port, and historic sites are all a short walk away. Every staff member we met was warm and helpful, handling requests right away and seeming to enjoy their work. They were patient with my very limited Spanish and even taught me a few new words. I'd happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cartagena.
