It was 38 degrees when we arrived, so we headed straight for a beer and the cold pool. The campsite is very open and got boiling hot, though the bar was okay. The restaurant was okay too, and the food was good, but the menu wasn’t in English and the staff’s English was limited, so we had to use a phone translator. The staff were brilliant and the welcome was lovely. You’ll need an awning to escape some of the heat. The toilets and showers were in portakabin-style units, but they were okay.

Natalie and the team made us feel very welcome and were happy to help. The area is lovely and the price was great. There’s fresh bread and croissants each day, plus a small organic shop, a restaurant and a pool. The setting has beautiful views, and it’s a 20-minute drive to the harbour. Improvements are underway, but they didn’t get in our way. We’ll be back.

For the price, we were very happy with the room. It suited us well for the one night we needed, and I enjoyed a nice coffee in the restaurant the next morning. We’d stay again if we need a place there.

This campsite is out in nature, though Cartagena is only about 8 km away. The grounds were clean and pleasant, with a small shop and restaurant. Best of all, the staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone nearby.

The pitches are roomy, with water and electricity, and the little lights among the lemon and orange trees make them feel charming. Staff are welcoming and cook tasty meals, with lots of vegetarian choices too. There’s a nice feel to the place and everything you need. The sanitary facilities are dated, but clean and have hot water, and they’re building a new block.
