I absolutely wouldn't recommend this guesthouse after the way the owner treated me. She was rude from the start and showed no empathy. I was traveling by bus with my small child, and she left us stranded an hour and a half away because she hadn't understood the booking. I had reserved from Friday to Thursday, but she kept changing what she said: first that it was until Monday, then Thursday. She asked if I also needed Monday, and I said I needed the room through Thursday. She said it wasn't as if they were giving me a room with two single beds, that there wasn't even a crib, and that they were giving me a crappy room where two people couldn't fit in one bed. I said I'd stay until Monday and look elsewhere, but she said checkout would be Tuesday. When I asked if that meant I'd sleep there Monday night too, I agreed to Tuesday. Then she told me to find somewhere else. It was 9:30 at night in the middle of August, when there was no room anywhere. The form was already filled in. I said I'd see if I could find something, and she left the form there in case. When I couldn't find anything, she said she hadn't taken it and had torn it up. That's awful. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on your guests. Luckily, I have a friend here who can put us up tonight, and I can go back to my town tomorrow. Without anyone, I would have been stuck on the street all night with a two-year-old. From the moment she saw the child, she pulled a face. If children aren't welcome, say so from the start instead of making people travel so far. I had two suitcases, a handbag, and a stroller on the bus. It dropped me in Huelva, where I had to change buses to Cartaya. What she did is something you wouldn't do to your worst enemy. She has a rotten heart and, in my view, only wants guests from her country, Romania. She treats Spaniards badly. She also lost out, because I was going to book for the fair too. You have absolutely no shame. This isn't right, and karma will come.
