Precise Resort El Rompido - The Club

Good mattresses matter a lot to me, and these were great. The coffee was a letdown, though. I had to use different machines, getting espresso from one and hot milk from another. The staff were attentive, the semi-inclusive food and drinks were good, and the decor was nice. The gym is small in what it offers, but clean.

A lovely choice for a family holiday, with a perfect breakfast and rooms that have a little kitchen and even a dishwasher. My only complaint is that there are no slippers. The indoor spa is nice and reasonably priced at 12 eur per adult and 6 eur per child, with children allowed until 15:00. You need to reserve. I’ll miss this place.

The golf courses are nice, though the pace of play can be an issue. For the price, it’s good value. The resort has plenty of nice features, but I’d call it only a little above average overall. Rooms are fine, if dated, the food is OK, and the pool is good. The animation team played unwanted music loudly through the day, but the pool is big enough to move away from it. I also emailed four times before the booking with questions and got no reply.

A lot of the facilities were closed, and there was no kids club despite it being advertised. The accommodation felt dated and cold, and reception had a faint sewage or damp smell. Staff were unhelpful, sometimes almost rude. Paying 12 euros per person to use the pool at a 4* hotel is a joke.
