We've returned to Entrerailes because this family-run hotel and restaurant offer such good value. The rooms are bright, modern, and clean, and Casalarreina itself has plenty to enjoy. Dimas is a wonderful chef; every meal we've had here has been beautifully prepared and presented. Even if you aren't staying overnight, it's worth stopping for lunch. The one drawback is that the rooms are on the first floor and there's no lift. It's a two-star place, so that's not required, and everything else about the business is great. Dimas and Zuriñe deserve another review from me, which I've never done before. The hotel is about 1 hour 15 minutes by car from Bilbao ferry port, making it a handy stop the night before heading home by ferry, or for longer if you have time.

I've brought some rather particular friends to stay here, and they were very pleased with the room and thought it was great value. I also come by every weekend for a Pintxo, and the food and service have always been excellent. A few times I've had lunch here too and really enjoyed the menu. I'd highly recommend it.

The regional owners run both the restaurant and hotel, and they're a charming, dedicated couple who's keen to help. The food is authentic and tasty. The rooms are clean, practical, and fully equipped with things like AC, a TV, and a hair dryer. It's a lovely hotel, built just a few months ago and very well maintained. Definitely worth trying if you're traveling through the region.

We found this hotel while stopping in Casalarreina on the way to Galicia, and what a lovely discovery. The town is peaceful and charming, with beautiful riverside walks. The hotel is gorgeous, quiet, clean, and full of thoughtful details; our room was comfortable, spotless, and well equipped. There was even a coffee maker, with water, coffee, and cookies provided. Dimas looked after us so warmly. Breakfast was fantastic, beautifully presented, and delicious: cold cuts, juice, fruit, pastries, cheesecake, flan, spectacular French toast, and freshly brewed coffee. We'd happily return. Highly recommended. Thank you!
