We got to check in early and take a much-needed rest. This family-run Casa Rural is close to the Camino Sanabres route, an old-fashioned country house with plenty of charm and clearly well looked after.

After a long hike, we arrived tired and sweaty, so finding chilled beers was such a welcome treat. You simply write down what you take in a book, all on trust. The family were lovely and did their best to make our stay enjoyable, and the home-cooked dinner was amazing too. Thank you, and God bless your family, from the 8 las peregrinas.

The host was amazing and so helpful, and the rooms were beautiful, with a pool. Casa Casarellos is a great place to stay if you're near the Cea Area, walking the Camino, or just touring this beautiful, peaceful forest.

Wine and beers on the terrace made for a relaxing afternoon after a hot day on the trail. We also found the breakfasts and dinners exactly what we'd hoped for in a rustic home, and absolutely delicious. The welcoming family and helpful owners made our stay comfortable at this beautifully peaceful place. We stayed here for our first and second nights after completing the Camino Via de la Plata.

The owners are charming and generous, and the home-cooked food is delicious if you'd like to eat in. The place is beautiful, with everything needed for a restful stay in a picturesque setting. If I didn't live on the other side of the world, I'd come here a lot.
